GlowBall follows the Perfect Game banned bat list. Each team is responsible for their bats.

Penalty for Illegal Bat:

• Batter is out, runners return.
• Repeat offense = coach ejection.

  • Bracket/ Tie-Breaker Rules

    If bracket games end in a tie:

    • Start extras with bases loaded, 1 out.
    • Runners = previous 3 batters in the lineup.

    Pool Play Tie-Breakers:

    1.Head-to-head (if all tied teams played)
    2.Runs allowed
    3.Run differential (max ±8/game)
    4.Runs scored
    5.Fewest allowed in a single game
    6.Most scored in a single game
    7.Final pool play run differential
    8.Coin flip

  • Lineup Options

    • Bat 9, 10 (with EH), or full roster
    • EH can rotate into field freely
    • DH follows High School rules
    • Free defensive substitutions
    • Pitchers may not re-enter after being pulled

  • Umpires

    • Goal: 2 umpires per game.
    • Some non-leadoff games may use 1 umpire.

  • Gameplay Notes

    • Intentional walks: just inform umpire
    • Head-first slides: allowed at all ages
    • Defensive obstruction: must possess the ball
    • Courtesy runners allowed for P/C only
    · If batting full lineup: use last batted out

  • Seeding Notes

    •Games ending in a tie count as ½ win & ½ loss
    •Pool protection may adjust bracket matchups

  • Ejection & Sportsmanship Policy

    • Player or coach ejection = 1-game suspension
    • Coach must leave park immediately
    • 2nd ejection = suspension for tournament
    • 3rd ejection = banned for remainder of season
    • Fan ejection = banned for rest of tournament
    • 2nd fan ejection = all fans removed for team

  • Site & Conduct Rules

    • No alcohol
    • No sunflower seeds or metal cleats on turf
    • No team no-shows — forfeits are 7-0, no refunds
    • Protests: $100 cash, refunded if successful
